The just released theatrical trailer for Mahesh Babu’s Sarkaru Vaari Paata is creating a major storm on social media. Even though the trailer is loaded with many power-packed punchlines, the “Nenu Vinnanu..Nenunnanu” dialogue rendered by Mahesh is garnering everyone’s attention.
Interestingly, Nenu Vinnanu..Nenunnanu is not a new dialogue penned by SVP’s director Parasuram. This crazy dialogue was earlier mouthed by Mollywood stalwart Mammootty in Yatra, a biopic on former CM of erstwhile Andhra Pradesh YS Rajasekhara Reddy. This dialogue had created a deep emotional impact on YSR’s fans those days.
Now, SVP makers’ strategy behind getting Mahesh to utter the same dialogue has become a hot topic in Tollywood circles. Many are of the opinion that it is a smart move by the film’s makers to woo YSR’s son and the current AP CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Let’s dig deeper. Mahesh, along with Chiranjeevi and other celebs, had met Jagan regarding the movie ticket pricing issue earlier this year. Even after this high-profile meeting, Jagan gave the permission to hike ticket rates and extra shows for some of the recently released biggies like RRR, Radhe Shyam and Acharya, with certain terms and conditions applied.
Jagan sarkar had ruled that only movies that exceed over Rs 100 crore budget excluding the remunerations will be approved for a ticket hike. Even though Acharya doesn’t fall into this category, Chiru’s close rapport with Jagan had helped his movie get the CM’s approval for ticket rate hike and additional shows.
Since Sarkaru Vaari Paata falls into the same category as Acharya, there are speculations about Jagan’s approval for ticket hike and extra shows for the movie. In this scenario, rumours are abuzz that Mahesh’s ‘Nenu Vinnanu’ dialogue is a smart move to impress Jagan and get his nod for ticket rate hike and additional shows in Andhra Pradesh.
