Telangana Rashtra Samiti is celebrating its 21st plenary today in Hyderabad. The plenary comes at a time when BJP is making a serious attempt to dethrone KCR.
Speaking at the Plenary, KCR hinted at forming a national party for the first time.
“We will be proud if steps are taken from our state for the betterment of the country. We have to come up with a new agenda to change the course of the country. The country does not need political fronts. The country needs an alternative political agenda,” he said.
“We are proud that Hyderabad is the venue for that new agenda and ideology. There are also proposals to replace TRS with BRS (Bharatha Rashtra Samiti). It will happen if there is a will to develop and if we do it with dedication. We need to find ways for a new political agenda,” KCR commented.
It looks like KCR is hinting at the formation of a national party and it also looks like he is trying to maintain an equal distance between Congress and BJP.
It has to be seen how this Pan-India dream of KCR pans out!
